I am still working on my Art Recovery, with the help of The Artists Way, as such I am taking things slowly and one step at a time.
It’s nice knowing that I can still draw and am still creating things; and that people are happy and willing to do art trades with me. This is Saga, she belongs to CrazyOATCfan. Its always nice being able to draw things for other people and seeing other original characters.
Since moving house and returning to the world of art and dA, I decided to do a bunch of art trades – and here they all are!
If you’d like to know about any of the individual characters or pieces of art, please let me know and I will be happy to tell you who the characters belong too~
It was wonderful to be able to draw these for people and get back into the swing of drawing while in the new house.
My half of an art trade with Qwaychou, who is a wonderful artist that I have recently had the pleasure of meeting vis DeviantArt; a place that I still do most of my online art stuff.
She drew me a wonderful picture of No Glow – which I’ll share in a post shortly, when I write a bit of a feature post for her gallery!
This is her character, Dutch. She asked me specifically to draw him and he was an absolute dream when it came to appearing; which was unusual as the male characters have been a bit of a problem for me lately. Probably why I have mostly been drawing females and pin-ups. Hopefully, he is the start in a bit of a more diverse trend as I have missed drawing my male characters~
My half of an art trade with Battybunni
I’m mostly writing this post so I can avoid writing the next one in my writing challenge – which I started this morning and had a bit of an angst fit over.
But at least I am actually updating with something and getting to share a bit more of my art as well.
This is my half of an art trade with Numbsoul over on deviantart, their character Mellia Apricot.
I don’t have much else to share today, other than I closed down my Weasyl accounts today. Just left a journal pointing to my blog. So, if you see this post and are from there. Hello and my thanks for coming~
Before I went on my internet detox, I arranged a swap with; With Love from Hollie over on facebook.
I sent her a little package of scribble doodle goodies and she sent me this wonderfully crafted dragon, called Daisy.
Daisy is now at her new home on top of my clock, looking out over the room and well out of reach from doggy mouths!!
I enjoy doing swaps, mostly because I like getting presents in the post. Daisy was a complete surprise, as throughout the swap the only details I really gave was “Make me a Dragon”! and the colours yellow and purple.
She is an absolute treasure~
