Small steps

I made some small steps of progress with Primaris Marines today. I managed to get a couple of base coats on. Slow and steady wins the race and all that!

Blood Guard: Update

Lately, picking up anything hobby related has felt a bit more like a chore than an enjoyment - part of why the art has been coming thick and fast compared to hobby related stuff. I walk past my Blood Guard army several times a day and each time I feel a mixture of guilt, for... Continue Reading →

Some new WIPs and something I found funny

I've been a bit lax here the past few days/weeks - I think people can understand why; life has taken a hectic turn. Keeping up with everything hobby related and blogging has been a bit more difficult. Juggling personal stuff and home-life had always been a task in itself and adding in a four-year-old into... Nothing links these models

I managed to get round to photographing some of my finished models properly today, so figured I'd share them on here. It's a very satisfying feeling getting a model finished and stored away on their army shelves and getting another step closer to being 'finished' with the army - makes me feel a lot less... Daily Challenge #2 – Larger model

These challenges are so much daily updates, but more an as and when I get round to them! Honestly, anything to keep the hobby going and working on different things is all good to me. I love the colour red, and have been enjoying painting the Blood Angels, so when I was asked […]Blood... Continue Reading →

Bust Sketches

I already shared the finished image of the final one (Of the Chaplain) but thought I'd share the other two sketches as well. The first is the Blood Guards Chapter Master; Loghain Kemplar - who is quite mad, I assure you - the Blood Guard ones are work for the Codex, the other fine looking... Continue Reading →

Uthor Examplaris Codex Portrait

I've recently picked up working on my Space Marine Home-Brews Codex again. Thinking up all sort of heroic deeds and fun things to write about them. But, a book without pictures (Especially a codex) would just be dull so I've started the long task of drawing the noteable characters and as with all things, I... Continue Reading →

Blood Guard: Uthor

It's been a while since I drew something self indulgent - and considering the recent conversations that have come up over on twitter about my own characters, it felt fitting that I finally get something decent drawn of Uthor Exemplaris, the Chaplain (and leader) of the Blood Guard (My home-brew) My previous attempts at him...
