Finrelithenye Bailey

This is my half of an art trade with Torekdva of their elven mage/farmer character, Fin.

This felt like a great step in the right direction when it comes to illustrations and where I’d like to take some of my artwork. Don’t get me wrong I am always going to lean towards pin-ups and the likes but it would be nice to be able to get my ‘portfolio’ a little more robust. Diversity is a good thing and I can only improve if I push myself to try different and new things – I know I still have a long way to go with my artwork and always encourage constructive critique with my work. I know where my weaknesses are but there are always things that the artist overlooks.

Fingers crossed, this is just the start of once again trying to improve my artwork without pushing myself too hard and getting hung up on the silly details and burning out!

As always, if you’d like to support me, I am using Ko-Fi (as I find it a lot easier and much less of a serious commitment than Patreon) and am currently offering quick head-shot sketches in return for Ko-Fi donations – commissions are still closed until the pandemic passes and I can figure out what time I have to commit to working full-time on artwork/commissions again.

  1. Really like your art style Jenn. Was going to send you an email to as on how you have been on progress with Legion, I have tried to read one chapter per day, but have been working from monday till yesterday, I believe I am a bit far behind now. Loving it so far and it really has pushed my enjoyment of Dune into a whole new level. They go so well together.

    1. Thank you.
I’ve been doing okay with Legion. Just got onto part two, so have been on a bit of a go-slow with it until today.
I’m at that stage with a book where it’s all coming together and the end is near so victory over it is getting close.
It’s a great book and I’m enjoying it so much more this time around.
