What games/systems are you most interested in/do you collect?
Any specific armies?
A small Death Watch Kill Team
Pan Oceania Military Orders
What aspect of the hobby are you most interested in?
Actually Everything, I own a ton of novels, almost all 40k video games, I play my armies regularly and I paint almost daily
What compelled you first start or restart the hobby?
After Playing Warhammer Dawn of War for ages, I just felt that I had to get into the hobby.
Do you have any future plans for your hobby?
There are so many plans, but currently, I just want to finish my hobby backlog
What sort of materials do you use to create your hobby? How long does it take you to complete a project?
I love to kitbash and I use greenstuff. When it comes to painting my miniatures I love my Harder & Steenbeck airbrush and experimenting with colours. Recently I got into luminescent paints.
What inspires you to keep going? Do you admire any other hobbyists?
I am mostly inspired by other hobbyists and the 40k novellas. I admire every hobbyist who is painting his miniatures.
What do you find most frustrating about the hobby?
The small mistakes I do while painting. I am not a very detail oriented person and this means I have to do a lot of clean up work on my paint jobs. Oh and I HATE mould lines!
Do you have any tips for any aspiring hobbyists – beyond the usual ‘practise daily’?
The only person you should compare yourself with is yourself yesterday! Appreciate your progress and do not think that you’re not good just because you’re not a golden demon winner!
What is your fondest hobby memory?
The moment when the brush started to do what I wanted and not the other way around.
Anything else you would like to tell our readers?
Be nice to other people in the hobby and accept that everyone enjoys the hobby and it’s aspects differently.
